Jamie Wylde

Jamie is a fully qualified Podiatrist who graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a first class degree. He has experience of working in both the public sector (NHS setting) and within the private sector.

Special interest in Foot Biomechanics

Jamie appreciates and offers all aspects of Podiatry but has specific interest in biomechanics, the function of the foot and ankle and the associated problems. This has come from requiring treatment himself from a Podiatrist due to poor foot function as a result of sport injuries. This was the main driving force that created an interest in Podiatry and ultimately resulted in him studying for a degree. Prior to this he studied Sports Science at the University of Sunderland.

Jamie Wylde is a member of and fully insured through the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and fully checked by the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service (Formerly CRB, Criminal Records Bureau). All certificates and registration can be provided upon request.

Determined to deliver the highest level of expert foot care to the regions of Calderdale and Saddleworth, Jamie founded FootPlus in 2016. The business offers home visits.
